Safety comes first. And yet our policing in this county is completely fragmented, making it possible for criminals to dodge between jurisdictions. We must find a way for cities to cooperatively come together to coordinate regional law enforcement and dispatch. After a few years of work, we now have the legislative encouragement and ability to move forward.
